Carl France, a renowned local, award winning chef, and his wife Rachael have been running the Café since March 2009.
The Café is extremely popular not only because of its wonderful food but because of the location. The Café has a terrace overlooking the main runway of Bournemouth International Airport. Consequently there is always something going on especially when the Red Arrows are in Town or the Navy’s Sea Vixen, as well as the many other interesting aircraft that frequent Bournemouth.
The varied menu ranges from an all day Full English Breakfast, to a selection of sandwiches, jacket potatoes and other snacks to delicious three course lunches, home made cakes, biscuits and, of course, afternoon cream teas.
The Café is open from 08.30 serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. From March through to October there will be social events and evenings organised on Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays. Details will be published.
If you would like to have lunch at the weekends you are advised to book a table, you can pop in for a drink at the bar anytime.
The Café is open to the public and welcomes children. Dogs on leads are permitted on the terrace.
